Share your track record — the link that answers “are you legit?”
Every vendor in Nigeria loses sales to one fear: “what if I pay and nothing comes?” Your track record is a public page, built from your real orders, that a buyer can check before paying. This guide shows you how to switch it on, copy your link, and where to put it.
What buyers see
Your page lives at vendingping.com/v/your-store-name. It shows things like:
- Orders delivered and buyers served — counted from orders you marked delivered
- How fast you reply — measured from your actual conversations
- Disputes — how many were raised, and how many you resolved
- How long you have been selling on vendingping
Nobody can edit the numbers — not you, not us. That is the whole point. A screenshot of “reviews” can be faked in a minute; a record computed from real orders cannot. Buyers learn this quickly, and it becomes a reason to buy from you instead of the next seller.
Nothing private is shown: no customer names, no amounts, no addresses, no individual orders. Just the totals.
Step 1 — Look at your record first
Open Settings › Business Profile › Public track record. Below the switch you will see a preview — the exact page a buyer would see. It is marked Private — only you can see this preview until you decide.
New store? The record fills in as orders are paid and delivered. You do not need a long history to switch it on; “12 orders delivered, replies in 4 minutes” already says more than most sellers can prove.
Step 2 — Switch it on
- Flip the Public track record switch.
- The status changes to Live. From now on, anyone with your link can see the page.
- Changed your mind? Flip it off. The page disappears immediately and shows nothing to anyone.
Step 3 — Copy your link
Your link is shown in the box under the preview. Tap Copy link, or tap the box itself to select it and copy the normal way. Open page shows you what a buyer will see in a new tab.
You can copy the link even while the record is private — handy for setting up your bio first. Just remember to switch it on, or the page will show nothing when buyers open it.
Step 4 — Put it where buyers look
- Instagram bio. Replace “DM to order” with “Check my record → vendingping.com/v/…”.
- WhatsApp Business profile. Business Tools → Business Profile → Website. Also paste it in your About line.
- TikTok and Facebook page bio.
- Your WhatsApp Status and Instagram Stories once a week, with a screenshot of the page.
- Any time a buyer hesitates. “You can check my record here before you pay” closes more sales than “I swear I am legit”.
The assistant shares it for you
Once your record is live, your AI assistant knows about it. When a buyer asks “are you real?”, “how I know you no go scam me?”, “is this legit?” — the assistant sends your link with a short, honest summary of the record, in your own voice. When the record is off, it never mentions it.
Making the numbers better
- Mark orders delivered. The record only counts what you confirm. Orders › update status — or just tell the assistant “order for Chidi has been delivered”.
- Reply quickly. Your reply time is the average across your conversations; the assistant’s instant replies help here.
- Resolve disputes. A dispute that ends in a refund or a completed order counts as resolved. Ignored disputes stay on the record.
The page refreshes itself — you never have to update it.
Turn it on today
The record only starts counting from orders you mark delivered — the sooner it is on, the more it has to show.
